Hi Longjog !
I just want to say, that I like your idea very much !
New idea to implement in Firmware:
The watch calculates the estimated running-time on base of the average pace and the total running distance.
The total distance (TD) has to be set before starting the race.
An helpfull gimmick is when the watch shows also the pace trend. Maybe (+) if the last km (lap time) is faster than the AVGPace and (-) if it is slower. Then you have also a information if you reach the goal in the calculated estimation time or earlier or later.
Happy new year and best regards
I had this in mind during my runs, but I didn't had the heart to ask for it.
I'm always trying to calculate the estimated end time and so it would be a good help
when the watch could solve this task.
However - when we are talking about estimated values, there are some more, which
could be interesting:
1. Total estimated end time (this is what you said).
2. Remaining time left to the end (this is just the difference from now to end time).
3. Estimations based on total average speed (up to now) or based on last lap (e.g. 1km).
4. If it would be possible to enter also a goal for the total time (like for running a marathon
you might enter a goal of e.g. 4:00 hours), the watch could show the needed pace
for the remaining distance.
