Hello igorbasic,

Unfortunately we do not sell displays.

You would have to replace your unit.

Or you would have to source your own LCD
and try to replace it on your own risk.

Android has the USB drivers for our GPS Receivers built-in it's Linux kernel (PL2303), and if your device is running Honeycomb and above (Android 3.1 ~ Android 6.0+), it should work.

To use your USB GPS Receiver on Android, you'll need the GPSInfo app to make your Android device use the external GPS, instead of the internal GPS. You can download the GPSInfo app from here:

If the GPSInfo doesn't detect the GPS, then please try using this app instead:

Then you'll need to enable Mock Locations in the Developer Settings menu. Most devices have Developer Settings hidden, so you'll need to follow this video on how to show Developer Settings:

Then you just plug in the GPS, and you should get a pop up that the GPS was detected, then you click Start GPS and you're set.

Any app that uses GPS will now start using the external GPS for GPS data.

For Android Marshmallow please try using "You are here GPS" app leave it running in the background then open your navigation app.

Hello Mike4tsix

Have you tried the latest driver ?

Make sure your device is unplugged while downloading the driver.

Thanks for the quick reply! :)

The device is shown as Unknown Device under USB Root Hub.

STGP version is 1.6.10, but the problem is that it doesn't get to pass the plug in step as Sport Training Gym Pro gives error: Device Detection failed, Please check device for COM Port/Baud Rate Settings.

So, I'm almost certain that the problem is not with STGP software but with drivers or the device it self.

Hello Mike4tsix,

Which driver and Sport Training Gym Pro version do you have?

Does your device show up on your device manager?

I started to get this information whenever I connect the device to my Desktop Computer.
Already tried install and uninstall drivers, COM PORT, everything I can remember of, but still no success.
The weirdest thing is that I put it aside for 2 months and tried to plug it again to the same PC, same Windows version and somehow it got recognized.
But then, after a ride the problem continues and I can't get my data from it.

Is there any more ideas of how can I solve this problem?

Hello chardy,

It looks like you have the latest firmware and gym training gym pro
Have you tried this?

Please hold the ok button
the menu button shows up select CONFIGURATION
The select system upgrade
Click yes on "do you really want to update"
Should put you on update mode

Then on gym training pro you can go to Configuration, firmware upgrade
and loaded the F-GGB-20-1503311-ghx firmware.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Hello gambit,

What do you mean by "I tried 4800 and it seem to work"
Are you able to see NMEA data or no?

Here is the serial command to be sent to the EM-506 to switch it from SiRF Binary Protocol to NMEA Protocol:
The EM-506 will have WAAS enabled by default if it was bought from us or one of our authorized re sellers.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
